Why is Goofy holding up 2 fingers?

 Cooling off at Olive Garden
with Times Square in the background.
Can you see what's playing on Broadway?

Happy faces and tired feet!

Summer Fun

Summer began with a bang, literally for some people.
The tornado came within 3 miles of our place.
It mostly just brought down some trees.
Odd thing was, everyone says "We never have tornadoes here".
A branch Memorial Day Picnic.
Lots of sun, good food, and good people.

The missionaries make a fashion statement.

No summer party is complete without water balloons.

"I looked out the window and what did I see?"

A view from our front window.

A magnolia tree a little past it's prime.

This is called a weeping cherry

That's a whole lot of popcorn.

A pink dogwood

Reminds me of a snow fort.

 Bumblebee heaven

You can almost smell them can't you?

Where's the beef?

Hmmmm, nothing here...

...and nothing here...

hmmmm, how come there's nothing to eat?

Oh, the Elders are here, thats why.
Elder Kaahanui and Elder Hunt.

Daddy Daughter Date

Becky and Elder Ashby take a fun trip to
Jersey to see a really big lady.

And Evie stayed home to help grandma clean house.

A cool ride on a double decker boat.

 The immigrant's view, very inspiring.

The hike up the base is filled with cool displays
of how she came to be and what she's made of.
This is the actual size of the face.

Inside the statue. The outside is copper,
about the thickness of 3 pennies, held together
by all these braces.

Now that's a close up.
We had a wonderful time.

New York in a day! April 14, 2011

 First stop Time Square
A Big Wow!!!

You could get lost in this concrete jungle.

Evie's taking time to smell the flowers.

 Battery Park. Can you see
 Lady Liberty in the background?

On top of the world or at least the Empire State Building.

Evie found another happy place!

Can you name this famous place in New York?
E-mail us with your response.

This is truly the city that never sleeps
but we're going home to get some.

Our first visitors from home!

Evelyn was sooo happy to see grandma and grandpa.
She was an angell the whole time.

At the Priesthood Restoration site by the
 Susquehanna River.

Resting in the peaceful Sacred Grove.
Joseph Smith said he prayed early in the spring.
The Grove may have looked like this.

 The Hill Cumorah...

...and the beautiful Palmyra Temple.

In the kitchen of the Smith's log home.

Becky's happy place, the Hershey Chocolate World store.

Evie's happy place, on grandma's laundry basket!
